Mayor Byron W. Brown today unveiled commemorative street trailblazing signs that are now posted on Kingston Place in South Buffalo, which was the childhood street of late New York State Assemblyman Richard J. “Dick” Keane. Mr. Keane passed away on October 21, 2008.

Brown today celebrated the restoration of the 700 Block of Main Street to two-way traffic, opening a critical section of Downtown Buffalo to the booming Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus to the north and the planned restoration of car traffic to Main Street south of West Tupper Street. The $2.2 million project began in August 2008.
