Today, Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-27) voted with his colleagues in the House of Representatives to approve the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act which will grant the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) the authority to better protect the public health as it relates to tobacco.
Today Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-27) voted with his colleagues in the House of Representatives to approve H.R. 2751, the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act, a version of the bill commonly referred to as “Cash for Clunkers,” that will provide incentives for registered owners of high polluting automobiles to replace their older car with a new fuel efficient vehicle.
