Jobs, Economy & Trade

Here in Western New York there is nothing more important than making long-term public investments in the community that drive private sector interest and create opportunities for good-paying jobs. The COVID-19 pandemic showed us the importance of improving supply chains by manufacturing goods and supporting new technology innovation at home. Western New York has a long history as a blue collar community home to heavy industrial jobs. Now, we are making the transition toward industries that support the manufacturing and creation of technologies of the future. Thanks to historic legislation, like the Bipartisan Infrastructure BillInflation Reduction Act, and the CHIPS and Science Act, which Brian supported, we are bringing new, sustainable, good-paying jobs to the community.
