Higgins Votes to Protect Consumers from Unfair Credit Card Practices

Today, Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-27) voted with his colleagues in the House of Representatives to approve the Credit Cardholders’ Bill of Rights, a bill which provides tough new protections for consumers facing excessive credit card fees, sky-high interest rates, and unfair agreements that credit card companies revise at will.  The bill now moves to the President’s desk.
